Jazz Solidarity Network is a new nonprofit cultural organisation based in Athens, which was founded in March 2023 by members of the Greek Jazz Scene (artists and jazz lovers) to support the cultural production in Greece regarding jazz and improvisation in all artforms.

It has more than 150 artists and 60 groups as members, but it is not funded in a permanent basis by a public or private fund. Therefore, it needs your financial support to flourish and become useful to its members and the society.

Its first steps included:

1. Participation with dedicated booth or live presentation in various international events (Jazz Ahead, Athens Jazz, Athens Rhythm Hop, Swinging Europe Annual Conference, Salamina Swing & Roll Festival, Syros Jazz Festival).
2. The 1^st Jazz Solidarity Fest at Playground with more than 60 artists presenting their work.
3. The 1^st Outta Climate Festival at Agios Dimitrios Asyrmatos Park, with 3 high quality live sets, 2 students’ bands and an innovative asphalt art intervention.
4. The creation of various digital communication tools, including a website platform with e-shop, sponsoring and crowdfunding features.

How to support and collaborate with JSN

1. If you are a jazz and improvisation artist, you can become a “beneficiary member” by registering here.
2. If you love jazz and improvisation and want to support JSN financially or in kind, you can become a “supporting member” or a “supplier” of the network by registering here.
